Smugglers Cove Adventure Golf has won Tripadvisor’s annual Travellers’ Choice Award for a second successive year.

The award is based on reviews collated over the last year and celebrates the top 10 per cent of attractions on Tripadvisor globally.

Smugglers Cove is located on Bournemouth Pier Approach and is operated by Bournemouth, Christchurch and Poole (BCP) Council.

The coastal-themed course aims to give players a taste of Bournemouth’s historic past through the eyes of a smuggler, as they putt around 18 tricky holes.

The attraction is also wheelchair accessible, with disabled parking located nearby in Bath Road Car Park, and disabled toilets a short distance away at Bournemouth Pier.

Celebrating the award, Councillor Millie Earl, Deputy Leader of BCP Council and Portfolio Holder for Connected Communities, said:

“Congratulations to everyone involved with the day-to-day operation of Smugglers Cove Adventure Golf for earning yet another deserved award. To be acknowledged in consecutive years is a huge achievement.

“In a prime location on the pier approach, the attraction is perfect for families looking to enjoy some competitive, light-hearted fun and is accessible to everyone.”

Yessica Falcon, Resort information Manager at BCP Council, added:

“We are really proud to have been recognised by Tripadvisor for a second year running.

“Since Smugglers Cove launched in 2019, it has been our mission to provide people with the best and most memorable experience possible and this award is testament to that.

“This award has further ignited our passion to put smiles on faces throughout the busy upcoming months of July and August, as people venture down to the south coast for their summer holidays.”
